Located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, Char was founded by Grand Rapids' own local chef Adham Kader and his brother Ramzy Kader in collaboration with Abdul Qassem in early 2018.

When you come here, you have to try everything! It is all amazing! The tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had! They are so full of flavor and the ingredients are so fresh! The owners have done an amazing job adding a twist on tacos! There are so many flavor options to try! Then there are broth bowls! You can have chicken, beef, or vegan broth. You will be so full after eating one of these! They are absolutely delicious! I get one every time I go! There are also fresh salads with different options for greens. The owner is a great guy and loves helping you find your new favorite! Definitely give this place a try!

Took one bite and immediately had to come here for a 5 star. The service was SO friendly and quick. The food is fresh and smells amazing. Everything is house made. It feels chaotic adding Asian flavors into tacos, or putting American touches into Asian themes, but it is the chaos you need in your life. I am so obsessed and if I lived closer, I would probably eat here every week.
